Picton Little Theatre

Picton Little Theatre is a community treasure; a vibrant gem of a building in the heart of Picton – you can't miss it!

The theatre hosts a wide variety of professional and amateur shows, and is also available for community groups and private hire. It has capacity for up to 99 people, with a large stage, green room and state-of-the-art tech equipment including a long-throw projector and 3 metre screen for film projection. The kitchen and bar can also be hired.

The building is thought to have been built around 1885/1886, so it has a rich history as a hub for creative activity in Picton.

Every year we partner with Arts on Tour NZ, offering low cost professional theatre and music. The society is a registered charity and is always looking for volunteers and new members.
