Words I Haven’t Told You was a Space Create initiative that invited people to reflect on the things they wished they had said to their younger selves or loved ones.
In August 2026, Herb + Olive Café in Blenheim’s High Street hosted a talking-walls-style pop-up installation by local artist Raffaela Dragani.
Inspired by Raffaela’s relationship with her Italian grandmother, the installation provided an opportunity for visitors to share words they may have wished they had said but were unable to express. Visitors could write their thoughts at Herb + Olive, with Raffaela transforming them into a series of drawings.
The collective contributions were brought together in a series of artworks presented to the public at the end of the installation, creating a shared reflection on the conversations left unspoken.
