Details: Many of Leo's figurative works, including Veronika, drew inspiration from biblical themes and characters. The sculpture was gifted to the people of Marlborough by local residents John and Kate Parker as a memorial dedicated to Iosefa Leo and his late artist wife, Jenny Doole.
